Michael L. Hines is a seasoned logistics executive and decorated combat veteran with more than 20 years of distinguished service in the U.S. Military Special Operations community. As the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Hawkeye Logistics Group, LLC, he brings unmatched expertise in supply chain management, FIAR compliance, government property oversight, and mission-critical operational logistics.
His leadership career was forged within some of the Army’s most respected Special Operations organizations, including the 3rd Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment, the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment (SOAR)—the renowned “Night Stalkers”—and earlier through a assignment supporting Special Mission Unit–aligned operations under the U.S. Army Office of Military Support (USAOMS).
Hines has transformed combat-proven logistics experience into a forward-thinking business model that drives Hawkeye Logistics Group’s operational excellence. Under his leadership, the company delivers precision-focused logistics, asset management, and freight solutions to commercial, government, and defense clients seeking accuracy, discipline, and results.
He is also the Founder and CEO of Mission First Training Group, LLC, a security management and preparedness training company providing mission-focused situational awareness, emergency action, and threat-response programs for corporations, schools, faith organizations, and community partners throughout the Midwest. His commitment to public safety and readiness reflects the same principles that defined his military service.
​Hines completed numerous advanced military leadership and technical courses, including the U.S. Army Battle Staff Course, Airborne School, Jumpmaster Course, SERE (High Risk Level C), Ranger Indoctrination Program (RIP), and the Special Operations Training Course (SOTC).
Academically, he holds a Bachelor of Arts in Operations and Analysis from the University of Arizona Global Campus and an MBA in Project Management from Columbia Southern University. He earned the prestigious Demonstrated Master Logistician (DML) credential from the International Society of Logistics (SOLE) and holds a Certificate of Specialization in Long-Term Care Administration from Des Moines Area Community College (DMACC).
