Michael L. Hines is a seasoned logistics executive and decorated combat veteran with over 20 years of distinguished service in the U.S. Military Special Operations community. As the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Hawkeye Logistics Group, LLC, he brings unmatched expertise in supply chain management, operational logistics, and mission-critical planning. His leadership background includes service in elite units such as the 3rd Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment, a Special Mission Unit, and the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment (SOAR)—the famed “Night Stalkers.”
Hines has translated decades of combat-proven logistics experience into a forward-thinking business model, guiding Hawkeye Logistics Group’s strategic direction and delivering tailored logistics and freight solutions for both government and commercial clients.
In addition to his logistics ventures, Hines is the Founder and CEO of Mission First Training Group, LLC, a company specializing in security management and tactical training solutions for organizations across the Midwest. His passion for preparedness and public safety drives his commitment to supporting communities and industries through realistic, mission-focused training programs.
Michael Hines is a graduate of numerous advanced military leadership and technical courses, including the U.S. Army Battle Staff Course, Airborne School, Jumpmaster Course, SERE High Risk (Level C), Ranger Indoctrination Program (RIP), and the Special Operations Training Course (SOTC).
Academically, he holds a Bachelor of Arts in Operations and Analysis from the University of Arizona Global Campus and an MBA in Project Management from Columbia Southern University. He also earned the distinguished Demonstrated Master Logistician (DML) credential from the International Society of Logistics (SOLE) in 2022. Furthering his professional development, Hines holds a Certificate of Specialization in Long-Term Care Administration from Des Moines Area Community College (DMACC).
